The fight for Ukraine’s freedom depends on high tech. Now, russian invaders are increasingly using deadly drones to attack Ukrainian troops. That’s why Azov defenders need effective equipment to counter that aerial threat. Electronic warfare systems are the best tools to keep our warriors safe.
An electronic warfare system is a defensive, non-lethal type of equipment. It jams the communication channels that enemy drones use to find and strike our vehicles and personnel. When such an anti-drone system works well, an enemy drone is neutralized: it falls from the sky long before it can cause harm.
Azov defenders must prevail in this struggle between drones and anti-drone systems. Our Brigade has already contracted top-quality electronic warfare systems from a reputable Ukrainian producer. This high-tech package includes two types of gear:
- one large stationary EW system, which will allow our Brigade to protect the entire defensive line in our operational area, thus fulfilling the strategic purpose;
- smaller portable systems, which will be installed on combat and evacuation vehicles to protect our defenders on the go at the tactical level.
Why is this purchase a priority? These expensive electronic warfare devices are worth every dollar because:
- the Ukrainian manufacturer has adapted these devices specifically to our Brigade’s needs and will provide reliable support service during their use on the front lines;
- these devices are fully compliant with the NATO codification system, and only a reputable military unit like ours can buy them from the manufacturer;
- the system combines electronic intelligence and electronic warfare capabilities, allowing our troops to effectively detect specific enemy drones and then jam them immediately.
